Hi, I'm Mike Friedmann.
As teaching is my passion, I've personally tutored the fundamentals of accounting, finance, and financial modeling to:
-
Analysts in investment banking, private equity and hedge funds
-
MBAs from Harvard, Yale, Columbia, and some 40 other b-schools
-
Management consultants
-
Accountants
-
Attorneys
-
Real-estate professionals, and
-
Entrepreneurs
The institutions that my clients come from include IBM, Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse, Lion Tree, and Citizens Bank.
Previously, I've worked as a financial analyst at IBM, a research assistant at MIT's Sloan School of Management, and an economics research assistant at Harvard Business School.
In the last role, I consulted on one of Harvard's MBA courses, helping to make economics curriculum more comprehensible to people from backgrounds outside of traditional economics and finance.
Adding financial modeling and valuation to your skillset can:
-
Increase your personal "hirability" value in finance and real estate roles.
-
Help you understand what drives a business's value (this includes both productive value--what makes it profitable--and its market value--what makes it get sold or acquired for a high price), equipping you to be a better investor, entrepreneur or manager.
Financial modeling and valuation skills thus often pay back many multiples of their cost.
While I'm headquartered in New York City, I regularly work with clients in Boston, Washington DC, San Francisco, Europe, and China.
Whether you're a college student, an MBA/grad student, or a professional stepping into a new role, I will design a personalized learning plan to fit your schedule, budget and needs.
